Cuba and in particular Havana, conjure the image of a world frozen in time. However, change is everywhere; beautiful and vibrant both stuck in the past and looking to the future. Music pours into the streets, fifties cars everywhere ,relics and reminders of Havana's grand & decadent past. Havana is a city like no other.
Our Havana design comprises photos of vintage department store Fin De Siglo ( End of the Century), Cuban traffic jams, faded hand painted signs, music manuscript paper and vintage tiles.
A digital print is then created using original photography and transferred by hand onto handmade paper using gel transfer, and embellished with gold leaf making each print unique.
The collage is 30 x 30 cms and is signed.
